Mr Franco Sogliani moved to Manchester Royal Infirmary in 2013.
He obtained his medical degree in Turin Italy in 1987 and was trained in London Chest Hospital, St. Mary’s Hospital, London. He finished advanced training in coronary artery revascularization in Leipzig Heart Centre in Germany and was appointed as a consultant cardiac surgeon in Blackpool Victoria Hospital in 2002. He specializes in coronary artery revascularization with cross clamp technique and valvular heart disease.
He has a specialist interest in minimally invasive transcathter valve replacements (TAVI).
